Sober College is a drug rehab center that specializes in the treatment of young adults with substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders. Sober College was opened in 2005 in Woodland Hills, California by Mindi Levins-Pfeifer, LCSW, and Robert Pfeifer, MSW. The Pfeifers saw a need for specialized treatment for 17 to 25 years olds that allowed residents to gain college and high school credit while in treatment. Sober College is partnered with

Productivity Leads to Successful Sobriety
Woodbury University, a small private university located in Burbank, California. Sober College is the only treatment center to offer on-site college accredited courses. The five signature courses result in the Certificate of General Studies. Students are required to be either working towards a college degree while attending or towards a vocational path.
Our substance abuse treatment curriculum builds competencies in Sobriety, Life Skills, Physical Fitness, Academics, and Emotional Well-Being . Our mission is recovery, giving young adults the skills and treatment necessary to lead lives free from addiction and substance abuse.
