Mike received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from California Lutheran University, and more recently completed his drug and alcohol counseling education at the Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies.
Before becoming a part of the Sober College family, Mike was a personal banker for over 12 years. In 2012, Mike was introduced to the world of recovery. Mike was hired at Sober College as a Mentor in February of 2014, and was quickly promoted to Men’s Counselor after just one year. “Through my own experiences in recovery, I have found a strong passion in helping other young men achieve and maintain a sober lifestyle,” explains Mike. “Sober College offers a great program for reintegrating young men and women back into the real world. There is no other program that offers this unique process of recovery, education and occupational success.” Mike explains that these attributes are some of the reasons he is looking forward to a long career with Sober College.
