It is often the case that students considering Sober College have been using large amounts of drugs and/or alcohol and require an intensive detox regiment before they feel normal, and are ready to be admitted into a drug treatment center like Sober College.

Sober College has relationships with a number of detox facilities that provide all levels of detoxification, from a social model to a hospital based medical model. Once you decide to send your son or daughter to Sober College, we are able to coordinate their detox services prior to admission if needed. Once they have arrived either on campus or to one of the local airports we provide pick – up and transportation to the detox medical facility and back to our program.

You May Not Know If Your Son or Daughter Needs Detox

Sometimes as a parent you are unsure of how much your son or daughter is using and whether or not they will need detox. Sober College has an on-site General Practitioner and Board Certified Psychiatrist who are on call and able to access whether or not your son or daughter will need detox services once a client admits to Sober College. Sober College has all the pieces in place upon a resident’s arrival to ensure their health, safety and well-being as soon as they enter into our care.
