At Sober College School of Addiction Studies we want to remove as many obstacles as possible for students to pursue the career they are passionate about. We believe in making education available to all those that want it. This is why we designed our program to be completed quickly and on your schedule without compromising academic excellence. Our program is perfect for working professionals and family members who have personal and professional commitments they cannot afford to miss. We have also expanded our online program options to include our Alternative Education Program designed for individuals that are looking to pursue a career as an addiction professional but who do not have access to the internet.
About Our Alternative Education Program for Counselor Training
Our Alternative Education Program has taken the same curriculum offered online and made it accessible to those who have limited or no online access. This option is self-paced, so students have the freedom to get their coursework done on their own schedule.
Who Can Benefit?
Our Alternative Education Program is for those students who do not have access to the internet. Those who are incarcerated who are looking to pursue a career as an addiction counselor will be able to earn all the education they need to pass their certification exam without having to set foot in a classroom.
How Does the Program Work?
Students in our Alternative Education Program are sent all the coursework and materials they need after signing up. Then, like our Self-Paced Program, they can complete the work on their schedule within 18 months. Once completed they send all their complete work back to our instructors for grading and sign off.
Those in our Alternative Education Program can complete all of the 315 education hours required to earn their certification wherever they are. For more information about completing you practicum hours with the Alternative Education Program please contact us.
