For those who have successfully completed treatment, early sobriety can be overwhelming. It is important to navigate this critical time with help from a supportive network of sober peers. Many are learning for the first time what life is like without the influence of drugs and alcohol and may not know what to do with their time. In this section, you can follow first-hand accounts of what life is like in early sobriety and learn about amazing, new, fun sober activities.

In addition, you can learn more about sober living homes and how these work as a transitional step into independent living. Sober living homes provide clients with the opportunity to benefit from the services provided in treatment with the safety and security of a sober home. Living alongside sober peers who journeyed through recovery together can make the experience of life after treatment more enjoyable and reduce the anxiety that many feel. In sober living homes, clients develop life skills to support independent sober living, which in turn builds their overall confidence. Sober living is a critical component for continued maintenance of sobriety. Show Less.
